Huacaya Alpaca for sale, from $500.00

In 2008 we moved to a shady 11-acre woodland in the beautiful Illinois Valley of Oregon. After having agisted them for the first two years, we had taken them home to a small 2-acre parcel in the redwoods of the California coastal town of Crescent City. After a year there the pronging and patter if little cria feet led us to realize that we needed more space, and everyone is so much happier here now.

Cave Junction is "ka huna", a hidden secret, with a back to basics lifestyle an
d many artisans and farmers looking for a life with more "pono", goodness, well-being and prosperity, than the big city hustle and bustle provides. We have found our palakaiko, or paradise, here for the time being and hope to spend our sunset years on the islands we love so much.

We are excited to offer you a way of building equity as your herd grows, an affordable start, caring support and a great family business that has many rewards. Once you experience the joy of watching an Alpaca birth, the fun of working with and training these wonderful animals, you will be as hooked on the Alpaca lifestyle as we are!

Barbara & Steve Lamphere, Huacaya Alpaca for sale, from $500.00We were married in Hawaii in 2005, the year we bought our first 7 Alpacas. We each have always had a strong attraction to
the islands, even before out first
trip there.

We decided to name our ranch and our growing Alpaca herd with names from the culture we are so in love with. Because of the way all of the mom's and young girls gather around a newborn cria to introduce themselves and welcome it into the family, we chose Ohana as our farm name. It represents both close and extended family.

 E Komo Mai, Welcome!
